I agree, I don't understand what's so hard to understand this, if going by percentages than Atlanta is the obvious answer.

The OP's question was: "Which city do you see having the biggest FUTURE in the entertainment industry?" By EVERY measure, Atlanta is CLEARLY the city that is -- and will have -- the biggest future (compared to the PAST) in the industry for many years to come. This takes nothing away from NYC or LA, and it has nothing to do with film tax credits. It's simply FACT!

Nope. It's's far from fact and everything to do with credits. There's nothing to suggest otherwise. Pinewood isn't it.

You Atlanta guys need to get clearer on your posts too. If that's what the op meant why is LA and new York on the LIST?

This.

There's also a big difference between one city's self-reflective growth potential and overall biggest future.

Yep, exactly.

OP, when you said "entertainment industry," did you really mean the film industry?

I understand the whole merge of silicon valley and film but just because the technology will be produced in SF are doesn't mean that hollywood will move there. Besides, SF is way too expensive for Hollywood lol.
Then that means LA will benefit more. And who knows, maybe it's polticians from the Bay Area not helping with tax incentives. But if they think it's going to help out the Bay Area companies, they will vote to be more competitive.

Once that happens, it's VERY BAD NEWS for anywhere else.

THAT"S A FACT.

It will happen at some point wether Atlanta boosters want to admit it or not. Things won't stay the same.

The only reason why other places have landed projects is because of cost.

LA and NYC will continue to have the biggest future. Atlanta and Chicago outside of that for future growth. I'm keeping an eye on Chicago though. More and more stuff has been filmed there and it's currently home to the largest collection of soundstages outside of LA, which there are plans to build more, and also a huge new backlot.

You are somewhat ambitious about Chicago, and apparently you have NO idea what is happening in GA and Atlanta????
