It would help if you could actually write a coherent sentence. I don't know what the hell you're saying in your second line about billionaire developers. Who cares about having billionaire developers when the rest of your city is so poor and behind. Albuquerque actually has built results, without hoping a billionaire will throw us a bone. Again, Albuquerque and New Mexico are way better off than El Paso in per capita and total terms. Most of the country hates Texas, and El Paso is the forgotten sixth child in Texas (remember McAllen has passed you). So where does that leave El Paso? Haha.

Albuquerque has a $43 billion economy compared to El Paso's paltry $28 billion. 397,000 non-farm jobs compared to El Paso's 316,000. Of course Albuquerque's gonna have more going on!

Have you googled El Paso's worst rankings like poorest, fattest, dumbest, polluted and most boring?

I'll be waiting for your totals and proof of El Paso's actual urban development.

I'll respond to yet another one of your multiple edits...

What did I post that was from 2011? The post I made was about apartment projects from the past year, going back to July 2017. You tried to come in acting all smarmy saying how you'll post small and mundane projects that you normally wouldn't post, when we all know that's a lie.

Additionally, you've been posting the same freeways, hospitals and shopping centers for literally ten years on this site under multiple accounts.

Paltry?? humorous again! might be boring to you- you're in the second poorest state in the nation! How many times have you posted ABQ's $43 Billion economy? includes almost the entire state- nothing else! have you also read about ABQ's high crime rate?? lowest high school grads? high drug use? I'm sure you've read of El Paso's national high rankings from the strongest economy to highest income growth to the safest, tons of other rankings, while ABQ is stagnant- people visit but can't wait to leave after their true experience. Like I said you can post all you desire if it makes you feel comfortable. We can continue mud slinging if you wish.

Also- you mentioned urban development or metro- ABQ is small, what metro? all is sporadic miles away!

Another addition so you can respond- below is "where does that leave El Paso"

Albuquerque's economy, jobs and incomes are all growing faster than El Paso's and have always been much higher. These are facts.

El Paso is actually the one that could be described as stagnant right now, look at the most recent numbers. All of its numbers are either slowing down in growth or declining. But everybody knew that would happen after the state and federal largesse dried up. El Paso's fundamentals did not change and it just doesn't have what it takes to sustain or create a dynamic economy.

New Mexico might be poor, but it's richer than El Paso. That's a fact. Albuquerque's economy includes only the four counties of its MSA, which is not half the state in either size or population. Adjacent to Albuquerque's MSA are the wealthy areas of Los Alamos and Santa Fe. Adjacent to El Paso is the third world city of Juarez and the bad economy of Las Cruces. Haha.

Urban development as in the hundreds of hotel rooms, thousands of residential units and the hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial development in urban neighborhoods costing over a billion dollars since 2014 in Albuquerque.

Albuquerque has a much bigger urban footprint and quality urban neighborhood s than El Paso. Anybody who has been to both cities knows this. El Paso has historic areas and downtown buildings, it's just a shame how they look and most are empty.

El Paso is like a dried up, third world version of a dying Midwest town.

Prove it! Juarez currently has 1.6 million people and in 2005 had a per capita GDP of $13,000. Compared to Albuquerque with a per capita GDP of $47,532 and about 909,000 people in 2016. Juarez would have to have had one hell of an economic growth spurt to surpass Albuquerque in GDP.

Continue you on with your nonsense- El Paso is almost twice the size of little ABQ with billions of road infrastructure that ABQ will never see in it's lifetime- it can't afford it. Wonder why it's number 47th worst city to live in

Albuquerque has a much higher median income than El Paso, I'm sure it can afford more than you guys in El Paso. El Paso feeds off the scraps given from the table of the five biggest cities in Texas. Albuquerque is the breadwinner in New Mexico. I'd much rather be Albuquerque in this scenario.
