NYC 77---homicides are down 14% from same time in 2017 on track for year end between 250 and 270. NYC could see under 200 in five years.

Chicago 152----Gun violence been down for past 14 months still higher than 2015 numbers city is making progress overall crime down 12% same time period in 2017. Chicago is on track for year end 525 slighty higher than 2015 much better than 2016.

Syracuse has 5 as far as I know, unless there have been changes with a couple of incidents.
That is one of the 5, unless a couple passed away from other incidents not as publicized or changed charges on a publicized arson that took place(actually 8 including the arson where 3 people died).
