Chicago has had a huge spike in murders in the last 3-4 days, one involving a blind man in his 50s being shot in the back.
We've had 12 homicides in the last 5 days, including one self-defense case where a retired police officer shot and killed a car-jacker.

We now stand at 150 homicides for the year.

Chicago's crime is one of the reasons Houston is going to surpass it in population by 2022.

I like Houston but it isn't going to over take Chicago because of it being so much safer. These comparisons become very silly.
