'16.

I wonder what's driving the developers to do that.
Not sure what you mean by 17 towers but in terms of office buildings over 300 feet Nashville has 5 office buildings completed since 2016 and 2 other towers topped out currently.

This looks great. SouthEnd has a TON of potential, and I am happy to see it being well utilized.

Those are beautiful towers. Do you have any details on height?

Agreed. This is a testament to the power of LRT.

Exactly. Nashville is doing well with attracting companies and businesses to its downtown. Currently, there are several office towers under construction downtown, and several more approved and proposed.

Charlotte is going to continue to do extremely well, benefitting from the infill that LRT construction has provided. Nashville should learn from Charlotte and get to work putting forth a new proposal as soon as possible.

Love those new skyscrapers proposed for Charlotte! Impressive.

Yes, that end of SouthEnd is blowing up. There is also a 400 ft condo tower under construction at the corner of Mint and Morehead down at the next corner near Bank of America Stadium.

I just don’t see the significant demand for office towers post pandemic (in the near future), that is the reality. And I think a lot what was proposed pre-pandemic will get scaled back. If anything, hybrid work environments and work from home are here to stay.

The skyscraper pendulum is swaying more towards high rise living.
