Sacramento. I like the density and how it does not resemble any other city in the state.

Louisville, KY or Winston Salem, NC?

Gotta give the edge to Louisville. The river plus bridges add to the already larger and broader skyline.

Good one here… Denver or Minneapolis?

Minneapolis, since I like the mix of old and new buildings better with this one. And the several bridges and the river, really add to this one. Denver's skyline isn't bad, but there's something about the one in Minneapolis I like more.

And back to Denver, let's try a different matchup with that one: Denver, or Calgary?

Calgary. Denver's skyline is just too boxy from most angles and not very modern looking anymore whereas Calgary has a nice mix of architectural styles.

How about some more slightly more obscure ones: Rochester, MN or Fort Wayne, IN?

Rochester, looks a lot more balanced. Fort Wayne has a few better looking buildings but the skyline is a little strange looking, also am not really a fan of that tallest tower, the "Indiana Michigan Power Center".

Montreal, QC vs. Pittsburgh, PA?

Pittsburgh. To me I like the mix of old and new buildings there, plus the design of the bridges over a river is more attractive looking there. Also, the incline railways('funiculars', as some call those railroads up a hill) to the Mount Washington neighborhood, add to how much I slightly prefer Pittsburgh's skyline. I also remember(as someone who's been to Montreal before, and also Pittsburgh too), liking the design of the bridges over a river in Pittsburgh more.

I'm going to pick some smaller cities, this time: Evansville, IN, or Shreveport, LA?

Shreveport. Love the way it looks from across the river in Bossier City with all the older bridges. Good mix of architecture too.

This one's pretty relevant to me and is a constant point of contention among coworkers: Oklahoma City, OK or Tulsa, OK?

Tulsa for me. The Devon tower just makes OKC look cartoonish IMO. It's like the lifted truck of skylines.

Cincinatti or Pittsburgh?

Pittsburgh all the way. Pittsburgh has an incredibly dense and classic skyline.

Cincinnati's is not bad, either, honestly for its size. Pittsburgh's is more graceful and balanced--and higher.

Oh and totally agree about Oklahoma City. The 840ish foot tower sticks out and makes the skyline look odd and unappealing. The tower is not that attractive, either.

OKC needs 2 or 3 more towers between 550 and 800 feet to align the balance of their skyline.

Memphis or Birmingham?

Memphis. Looks bigger and more dense. Houston or Los Angeles?
