Totally. St Louis' skyline is highly underwhelming, except for the arch.
Clayton, MO definitely wins here for now. Richardson will most likely surpass it in years to come.
Memphis, TN or Providence, RI?
Gotta go with Memphis, but Providence is no slouch. Providence probably had a Top 10 skyline 50+ years ago (few cities really started building up until the 1970s), as it has a very classic "mini NYC-style" skyline with lots of older skyscrapers from pre-1950, but unfortunately doesn't look like it has a lot of modern architecture which holds it back some.

Grand Rapids, MI or Winnipeg, MB?
Seems like a bit of a lopsided comparison. There's not really an objective way for Winnipeg not to win it. As Canadian cities tend to go it is a better skyline for sure.

Grand Rapids MI or Montgomery AL?
Grand Rapids, easily. Grand Rapids is growing pretty nicely and is a magnet for young professionals in that region. Montgomery is pretty sleepy overall and has a low rise skyline.

Fresno, CA or Spokane, WA?
Tough one but I'll have to go with Spokane since the river compliments it, and it also has a cleaner look.
Houston. More modern and taller buildings that don't all seem to top out at the same height from most angles. Denver's skyline is in BAD need of a serious change, including a few new in the 650'+ range.
