Also state population estimates for midyear 2022 are going to be released on Dec 22nd. I'm cautiously optimistic that they won't show as much decline as the 2021 estimates did, given the pandemic's impacts have been lessening.

I’m surprised immigration from India to Los Angeles is so low? It’s lower than Sacramento and Austin, and Indian migration is pretty high in virtually every other city in the country. Especially so for Seattle and San Fran, LA’s west coast cousins.
Wonder what DC's southern number is when those born in VA are subtracted...
You'd have to still separate those born in Nova vs the southern portions of VA.
