Does The XFL-USFL count as a Major League? (New Spring Football League)
If So Places Like St Louis will have 3 professional teams, places like San Antonio and Memphis can count 2 professional teams and places like Birmingham Alabama will have 1 Professional Sports League
The USFL had team names from different cities but only Canton (which had no official team), Memphis and Birmingham hosted games, with the playoffs and championship game all also held in Canton, IIRC.
So it's hard to count that as "major". Didn't the XFL, though, have all their teams play their home games in their own market? (I didn't follow either but know about Canton because it's just down the road).
Maybe the merger can add some more prestige to the league but last I saw is that they haven't announced how the schedule will work and Canton (without a team) may yet again be a home field for a couple teams in the new merged league.

In fact, both Rashidi and Jamaine fought on the Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia undercard. That was the biggest fight of 2023 both for PPV and at the gate.

That’s your Texas ego thinkin . Dallas isn’t the only with all majors. And the Cowboys are the only passionate fan base in Dallas. It’s certainly no Philly, Boston or possibly even Seattle when it comes to passionate fans.
Can someone explain, in all seriousness, why San Francisco and Atlanta are tied? Do we not care about college, soccer, the fact that Atlanta had the Olympics, etc.?
PC Men's basketball is my favorite college sports experience in New England from a fan's perspective by far. Sure, UConn is the better program, but PC is very good and the experience at the Pavilion/Dunk is much better. The place is always full and it's not on campus so there's bar service, and the energy is excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone.
Part of the issue of Miami is how a large percentage of the population are transplants. This affects support for the local teams. For example, since I grew up north of Pittsburgh, I am a much bigger supporter of the Penguins than the Panthers, and why I may not be an NFL fan, I certainly would root for Pennsylvania teams than the Dolphins. I've been to several hockey games where the opponent is more popular than the Panthers.
Having generational influence, I argue, is very important for creating stronger sports fans, while several teams from the Midwest and Northeast are particularly strong because of this issue, along with individuals moving from those areas to other regions.
