Seattle - 4 in the last 10 days, up to 9 for 2024. Averaged about 20 for an entire year during the 2010s.
Portland - holding at 14, had 20 for the entire year in 2016.
San Francisco - holding at 2. Property crime remains very high but homicides remain very low.
San Jose - 8. Most recent was a bizarre choking incident at a liquor store.
Oakland - 13. Few will likely ever get solved.
Los Angeles - 46 vs. 40 same time last year. Overall not a terrible rate for a city of 3.8 million, but like SF property crime remains a challenge.

Philadelphia: 48 Down almost 30% YOY
New York City: 45 Down 27% YOY (murder yesterday)
Baltimore: 29 One week+ with no murder
Washington DC: 26 Down exactly 30% YOY
Boston: 2 Went Almost 2 months without a single murder, down 70% YOY

That's what I'm thinking. I can't seem to find any updated information about their deaths.
