lol. Why are people posting pics of old neighborhoods. This about bad neighborhoods. Everyone knows that S. Bronx was terrible back then, It was worse than what Detroit is now. But a lot of NY neighborhoods today arn't bad no more. You go to Bedstuy in Brooklyn or Harlem and let me tell you that those are some nice brick rowhomes. There are ugly and more dangerous parts in places in Detroit, St. Louis, NJ, Florida, New orleans, etc. Im not saying places like Wash Heights or ENY arnt bad, but there are plenty more places in the US that are worse.

Most of SE DC is bad(Anacostia) and then parts of NE DC are as well.(Trinidad, Ivy City)
I dont know..... the Greenleaf Garden pj's behind the safeway on south capitol used to be pretty bad. Half street and the neighborhoods around that area like buzzard point or Carrolsburg I dont know what it's called anymore, that is still bad I drove past it like a month ago. The worst neighborhood in that whole city was the Aurthur Caper area back in the Nation days, lots of shootings... But thanks to the stadium that god forsaken area has been torn down.

To find out the most violent neighborhood, you have to find the most violent cities in the USA. Highland Park,MI;East St. Louis,IL;Compton,CA are all separate cities, not neighborhoods. The most violent neighborhoods would probably be in New Orleans and St. Louis.

Default Prince George's County, MD

I posted this in the threat about dangerous small cities, but for the most part these cities are urbanized and about the same size as many neighborhoods in larger cities. All of these cities are adjacent to or within a few miles of Washington DC.

As alot of DC is being gentrified, alot of the crime that the city used to be known for has been pushed further east into the smaller cities in PG County, MD. Most of these cities are about the same size or smaller as a neighborhood in a larger city. These numbers are all from 2005.

Murders- 7

I agree, those are probably extremely bad, because even of the RAW number of murders isnt that high, the fact that there so so small and they had that many murders that took place in a small small are makes them pretty bad.

Birmingham AAllabama.....Oh my god. That place is terrible.

The city of Na'wlins, Lousiana.

Odessa, Texas. Just for the fact that the city looks like Mexico. I hate that place.

Barry Farm's and the Highlands in southeast DC. Also Trinidad and most of Benning road in northeast DC. And the Sursum Corda neighborhood in Northwest DC, and the Carrolsburg area in Southwest DC.

Also some neighborhoods in Prince Georges County MD that borders DC are bad.

Southside Chicago

Gary, IN.

Frayser in North Memphis. And North Memphis in general. And Orange Mound in Memphis.

Old North Saint Louis, MO. East Saint Louis isnt even all that bad, its is to a degree but its not the worst. I mean I used to drive around there and not see 1 human bieng anywhere. LOL that place is abandoned practically.

East-End Newport News, VA.

Mosby in Richmond VA. There are a quite a few neighborhoods I would pick in Richmond VA. Almost the entire Chamberlayne Road in Henrico County bordering Richmond.

There's plenty of bad neighborhoods in Philly and Camden NJ.

West Charoltte, NC.

I dont know the names of the neighborhoods but there were a couple in Durham NC thatw ernt the greatist, but not the worst.

Again I dont know the names of the neighborhoods but on the outskirts of Myrtle Beach, SC it got pretty bad. North Charleston SC seems to always make it on the worst cities list, I havent been there but most of SC is crap.

Opa-Locka Triangle FL.

MLK drive in Miami. Theres a bunch of bad spots in Florida in general, I mean Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami Gardens, ect ect ect ect all have f***ed up spots.

I havent been to the west coast yet by my buddy from Vegas says North town Vegas is really bad. I havent heard very great things about Pheonix either. I guess Compton and Watts and all the other screwed up areas of California.

And thats all I can think of now. oh and Baltimore and Detroit.
I agree about the triangle in opa locka, and Florida in general is the murder capital of the east coast as far as states go. Per capita wise florida is not that bad, but in RAW numbers it's higher then even NY state as a whole. But the 2 highest states are TX and CA, because there just so large.

Why? Why do so many NYers on this forum have this NEED to have everyone over-acknowledge how bad the South BX or NYC overall were back in the day? Why are you guys so proud of this fact? Yes, it was awful. Neighborhoods in your city sucked. Can you guys put it to rest now? Every time I look at one of these threads I can predict what I'm going to hear NYers beat us over the head with on here. WE GET IT, it was BAAAAAAD. OKAY???

The OP has nothing to do with this, so let it go.
