San Jose is looking good plus it has a better backdrop than both SA and baltimore with the huge mountains. San Jose is just a younger city doesn't have the same level of historical skyscraper architecture.

San Antonio skyline overall isn't bad. Of course it could use a few more skyscrapers, but it certainly doesn't lack density.

I beg to differ. San Jose has more towers than both cities, but they're shorter. You can see how dense Dt SJ is. The picture is dated, and downtown has added more towers since. Even in this picture, alot of buildings have been left, particularly to the north and the south.

San Francisco, don't get me wrong, at street level it's beautiful, but when looking at it like this it just doesn't look very good to me. The pointy triangle building just looks awful to me.

And this last one isn't major, but seriously WTF?
Albany, NY.

Those images of Albany always remind of Woody Allen's Sleeper, wonder if there is an orgasmatron in Albany

SF isn't that bad, in fact I like it, but I can see how it can be unappealing.
But Albany is just horrible, it would be nicer without the 4 identical buildings.

I am happy to see someone else share the same opinion of the San Francisco Skyline that I have. It is no coincidence that the Golden Gate Bridge is their signature structure, deservedly so. The actual skyline of their business district is relatively plain looking and is actually quite old. The majority of the high-rises in San Francisco were built in the 1970's and early 1980's. Back when they made that movie, The Towering Inferno, I bet they really did believe they would have the world's tallest building in San Francisco some day but instead development of the downtown seems to have halted, especially over the last decade. What buildings there are do not impress me, they are dark and boxy for the most part.
