Your attempt at humor is, at best, pathetic
It is hard to find a state comparable to Texas because of so many large cities there
My state of Oregon has really no good matches with Texas based on industry, scenery, weather, importance etc
Maybe Austin and Portland??
Corvallis and College Station??
La Grande and San Marcos??

Albuquerque and El Paso
the Rio Grande flows through both cities
both have good Mexican food and large Hispanic populations
both are desert and average lots of sunshine
both have a mountain backdrop and a tram
both are university cities
both have tons of NM and TX plates around town
both have crappy skylines
both have a similar sized metro

The old Victorian houses look like the homes in Savannah. Or Plantation homes. I'm not really sure of the difference.
