fort vancouver and fort worth. they both are historic. cities outside a major city. and both have fort in their name ;D

I think it's closer than you would give credit for. Raleigh looks very similar to the way Austin did in the early 90s, and it's about the same size as Austin was at that time. I would not be surprised if two decades from now, it becomes a very common comparison.

Atlanta= Dallas or Houston
Sacramento=Austin
Portland=Austin
New Orleans=San Antonio
San Diego=San Antonio
Manhattan=Houston a smaller version
San Francisco=Nowhere,Texas
San Jose=Austin sorta
Ft. Worth=A bigger OKC
Buffalo=A smaller less colorful version of San Antonio. Lots of old buildings.
Milwaukee=San Antonio

They're really nothing alike, nor are they like California. I would much sooner match the cities in my state with those in New York state.
