ya seriously. That is a cute little record but I figured he was referring to a sell-out streak. The Red Sox have the meaningful attendance record if anyone is interested.

That being said, I do think Denver is a premier sports town and am really surprised by how many people are saying the Nuggets don't have a strong following. I have always noticed the opposite but maybe I just roll with a pro-Nuggets crew.

I love sports. I also love Denver. I must say, however, I'm not a fan of the Denver reps. on this site as most come off as being pretty ignorant.

So I'm not a "wise" sports fan because I'm not buying into Denver being the number 1 sports city? That makes a lot of sense.

Yeah, the Avs have done it in front of a crowd that averages 13,842 (27th out of 30 teams) and the Nuggets in front of a crowd that averages 17,880 (13th out of 30 teams). Not exactly the numbers one would expect for the number 1 sports city.

No one anyone should include LA on this list. I have lived in the LA area for about 15 years now. LA fans for the most part, farweather fans. If the team sucks, the fans will not care. I can tell you the Laker fans now compared to the 3-peat are not nearly has obvious. I do not see Laker flags anymore, thank god. Dodger fans are awful, just as bad as Giant fans. I feel like I'm going to get stabbed at a Dodgers game. Dodger Stadium is in the middle of Chavez Ravine aka the ghetto. The only good fans in LA are Kings fan but no one cares about hockey in LA. Anaheim fans love seating on their hands during Duck and Angel games. They will go the game but they will not cheer or many any noise unless something major occurs.
