comparing dallas to fresno is delusional and shows how little you know or care to know about dallas.
and yeah, cali's got such clean air. yall have paid such great attention to the environment ever since yall started destroying it the same way texas does. get over yourself!
Not at all. Dallas and DFW have many times the cultural advantages (and diversity I might add) of places like Fresno and San Bernadino.
The only thing Dallas has in common with them is the heat.
You are probably right since places like Fresno don't have much to be proud of. But living in Fresno or San Bernardino means you can drive to places where cultural opportunities outshine even Dallas [ie San Francisco or Los Angeles].
^^^Yeah I can agree with that for San Bernadino. But to live in Fresno (or even Bakersfield) would not be worth it to me even given the proximity.
Some of you guys are starting to fight like children.
Nobody seems to care about comparing the cities as they are. Everyone wants to put exaggerated versions of San Diego and Dallas (California and Texas) and put them up against each other as if they truly exist like that.
Texas has a very bad reputation in California since the power companies charged California outrageous amounts of money about 10 yrs ago when Bush was president. It was blatant capitalistic corruption that Texas is known for [ala Enron] and something California never allows. Now these very same power companies want California to stop regulating smog with global warming measures. It is the difference between California wanting a clean environment and Texas' selfish money schemes in spite of the people who breath their foul polluted crap. Big differences in values and Texas looks sad when it comes to real values beside Bible-belt nonsense.
One could also argue that CA is a bit of the bratty self entitled kid when it comes to energy and water. Don't want to build it but expect everyone else to bend over backwards in regards to either subsidizing it or producing it for you. If you don't want to pay the bill then buck and build the your own capacity. Claiming nirvana then griping about the cost is a little bipolar, just my two cents
i have no problem with san diego or california. i think cali is an amazing place full of vibrant cities. but that doesn't mean you have to sh** on texas! THATS my problem. i have no beef with california just when people on c-d get snotty
