Both cool towns...but if you were to take the 4 big mid-Atlantic cities (NY, Philly, Baltimore, DC) and rank then 1st through 4th, we all know exactly which place Philly would be.

Hahah that's what I'm saying. Depending on who you talk to and what you are talking about, people would rank it second or third. I think Boston, Philadelphia and DC are all neck and neck, all with different positives and negatives

Well, I suppose DC isn't so far ahead of Philly that I should say there is no debate. To love DC you have to appreciate the European uniqueness of its height limits and lack of skyscrapers. For concrete-jungle traditional American cityness, I guess Philly wins out.

That's the point, they are so close, some people prefer one and some the other. They both have positives and negatives.
