No one never argued that, but Houston has become to be its own now and the Bay Area and Houston are two different sounds. You either like this, that or both.
People making it seem like Houston's hip hop scene is weak. Think again.
Southern-Atlanta was really good with the crunk music and club bangers but starting to fall off with the high pitched rappers getting on my nerves.
Houston-Dallas- I love the style,a real mix of R&B beats with rap lyrics, especially the new artist that have come out lately

I believe I was the first to point that out in this thread and nobody in this thread has said anything against that. Also, there's more to the South than Scarface. Also, while the South was influenced by the Bay. It still formed it's own style and it's own sound in hip hop.
I gotta give it to houston cause... I can't with all honesty give Tupac to the bay he is LA all the way. Honestly I haven't heard much material from any of those artist that are on that list... maybe Too Short or E-40, but Houston has the better music by far for me...
