Ya, cause realestate is just so expensive down there in Texas, that nobody from the "northeast" could ever afford to move to REPUBLICAN cowboy hat wearing headquarters.....

These are two different questions, but I voted anyway.

As much as there was a lot I was unhappy about in Philadelphia, I have absolutely no interest in living in Dallas (and I'm sure it wouldn't be any better for my sinuses than Philadelphia was), so I voted Philly.

Texas is a red state. Blue cities maybe, but it's a red state. Rural and the burbs are solid red and the cities (other than Austin) are not nearly as blue as cities are elsewhere.

That's just the way I like it. There are more than enough blue states...Cali and NY for sure, FL is probably going to go blue, NC as well, VA maybe, GA is borderline....not to mention the NE and West Coast. Keep Texas a red state.

That's not the point I was trying to make. I just wanted to say that there ARE liberal people who WOULD move to Texas. It's not like ALL liberal democrats completely AVOID Texas. He said something along the lines like, what liberal would want to live in Texas, or something like that. But there are PLENTY of liberal people in Austin and Dallas, and Houston, and SA. Is Texas a red state? YES!!!!, But are there liberal people in Texas? YES!!!! NOT everyone in Texas is a conservative, cowboy hate wearing, GW loving, gun-slinger, like that guy whom I was arguing with thinks. And THAT, was the point I was trying to make. I DON'T want you to think I was arguing that Texas is NOT a red state. It is a red state, BUT that wasn't my POINT in this argument.

Seems how there are 25 million Texans, I guess some may have a little trouble being articulate. What's your peoples excuse? I don't think pronouncing things like New Yawk(new york), New Joisey(new jersey), and saying things like youse guys, isn't exactly articulate, and it's BEERS not BEZ(we're gonna go drink some bez son) NOR is calling everyone Son, or Kid (including people who are older then you) is exactly being articulate either. Looks like were in the same boat.

As the old saying goes, people vote with their feet. Where that vote is concerned, Dallas is winning and Philly is losing, for better or worse.

Why are people attacking the entire states of Texas and Pennsylvania, not to mention off-topic California, New York and New Jersey on a thread about Philadelphia and Dallas?
