Come on down! Love to have you. Elizabeth city is going to be nice and cheap. It will have a few places to work, but not like jVille or Greenville. Greenville is not where I would send you as your relocation agent. It has a nice university and nice people, but kind of not beachy in the least. Jacksonville is military. I mean military. If you are military, you'll feel warm and fuzzy, if not you will feel like you're on a base. I work in every area you named regularly, but live in Wilmington so I speak with honest knowledge. I agree with the responder who mentioned swansboro and work in Jacksonville though....that would be okay and great fishing! For sure! Consider also that Elizabeth City has good access to the Outer Banks if you like that area. Take care.
