'Revenge time' for Miami as Hurricanes ready for trip to Ohio State - Campus Rivalry: College Football & Basketball News, Recruiting, Game Picks, and More - USATODAY.com

Miami Hurricanes can now focus on Ohio State and avenging bitter '03 Fiesta Bowl loss

Miami Hurricanes have a score to settle with Ohio State - UM - MiamiHerald.com (http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/09/03/1807755/hurricanes-have-a-score-to-settle.html - broken link)

I hope Miami crushes oh-crapo-state. I see Cooper might be out for Miami which hurts our chances but if Miami is 76-3 in the fourth quarter with 0:47 left to play I want to see a another TD. then onside kick, then another TD!

Still complaining about one call.....Funny how we all forget that if it wasn't for a horrible call by the ref....We would have beat Miami in regulation and wouldn't have even went into overtime!

Revenge game

Get ready for that L

<--- Florida State alumnus here.

Scum U( can't spell scum without the UM) is still as mean and dirty as usual. It's part of the culture there. The students that go there have a strong sense of entitlement. When daddy is paying 50k a year you expect everything else to be given to you as well and that includes national championships. The players are thugs, as we are reminded by the occasional bench-clearing brawl (UM-FIU brawl). The only ones worse are the rest of the student body. Sure, they don’t have the criminal records (daddy can pull lots of strings here too) but their attitude is just as bad.
I grew up in Miami and you would be surprised how many lame wanna-be fans are there. So many people there don’t even know UM is a private school (until they thing of applying and see the price tag). So lame. If the school didn’t have “Miami†in its name no one would even care about it. It’s not even IN the city of Miami. It’s in the city of Coral Gables. It should be called UCG. FIU, the public state university in Miami, wsn’t even allowed to have a football team for 20 years because UM was afraid it would hurt their recruiting. FIU FINALLY got a football team and UM makes sure they have a hell of a hard time doing recruiting. It is only a matter of time though until FIU becomes the dominant team in South Florida. I so long for that day. Then UM can go back to being a minor private school known for partying and little else.

is someone bitter there dirty old man was forced out from free shoes u while having to vacate a whole slew of wins keeping him from being the wins leader?

i also like how you give small private school enough power to dictate to another independent private school what they can or cannot do

get a life - wide right, wide right!

Be careful Ohio State you don't want this to happen to you.

BTW: FIU started it, Miami just defended itself. Any other team and player would do the same when being jumped by the other team. Miami get blamed for the fight but in the video you can cleary see FIU punched a U player first.
