The folks at PSU just dont get it... Below are some comments on the article, which say enough.
"Sections of Penn St. community continue to be dillusional when it comes to this tragedy. Very sad."
"Reading this makes me question if Penn State should even exist as an institution. Clearly, the graduates of Penn State are ignorant of ethics, morales, or taking responsibility. The school should just be bulldozed over immediately."
"geeh what about the unfair punishment and violation of those kids.....that can never be reversed.....penn st got what it deserved, and if your tryin to infer that the community is getting punished becuase of money and football games....oh well.....it isn't even over yet....once those law suites are adjudicated your going to be getting the hammer even further....thank you NCAA for doin the right thing....i hate cover ups and vial actions...."
"I can get that the faculty are ticked off because their reputation and the credibility of their work are at stake, either as former or current faculty. But the problem with this is that they are putting their own work ahead of the victims. It's a oh just a little easier to recover the ability to get grants for research than it is to deal with the psychological damage that comes from sexual abuse."
"..."Freeh's findings have come under fire from ousted school president Graham Spanier, the family of late football coach Joe Paterno and the two university officials"... In other words, everybody who had something to hide."
Joe Paterno covered nothing up! There has been nothing that has come to light that would suggest that he DID cover anything up!
Look, with a handle like yours, I would assume you're a "paesan," right? And probably from that area? I am indifferent to Penn State, academically or athletically. I just think that Joe Paterno was overrated by Italian-Americans who look to a football coach as the pinnacle of what Italian-Americans could offer to this country, and now I think he's an embarrassment. Capisce?
I think the guy is in denial, he thinks he's innocent.
kind of ironic that a number of the other prisoners in his unit have also declared their innocence as well, imagine the odds of them all being in the same unit together at the same time.

I'll bet all their lawyers & families thought they were innocent too.
