TCU didn't beat a quality team until the bowl game. There is no reason to believe they were one of the four best teams in the country.
The Buckeyes have devoured the badger, koomkie & stuffed duck on their plate frog legs would just be an appetizer to this hungry squad!
I say 8 team playoff using the bowl system to get the final four ...

Ohio State also lost against a decidely non-quality team.
I just find it amusing that some of the people who railed against the old system when it didn't favor them now sing the praises of the new system in a year it favors them. OSU got in over TCU because it is a big program with big money and a storied history. TCU got screwed because it's a smaller program few people know about and fewer care even less about. There's no way to sugarcoat that.
If all of the BCS championships have an asterik, then this one should too.

Yeah Texas and Texas a&m are the only big money and history Texas schools. TCU and Baylor are just starting to make a name for themselves. Baylor is a basketball storied school though.

And TCU lost to Baylor, who when really watched didn't look impressive. Gaudy. But not impressive.
TCU didn't get in because they didn't have as impressive as season as the other four. It is that simple.

Right. The same arguments were made for putting SEC teams in title game all of those years. Yet somehow those arguments were invalid.
Did I say they were invalid? Nope. Not sure where you can quote that I said they were invalid.
And the OSU loss was very early in the year, with a different QB (first time Barret started, wasn't it?), and they then went on and improved remarkably. TCU lost more toward mid season, and played a weaker schedule in a weaker conference, and had closer/less impressive victories. There really is no argument for TCU.
You have to stop somewhere. 2, 4, 8? Then number 9 will be butth*rt. It ends at somepoint and if you expand it anymore you'll need to cut down regular season games since they'll be approaching NFL season lengths and these young bodies can't take that.

So fix it by either establishing a Big 12 championship game to settle the conference winner, like everybody else, or wait for the CFB to expand to 6 or 8 teams. Just that easy.
