The Big Thompson @ Drake is now higher than it was the night of the 1976 Flood. Old record was 9.3 feet, it's currently at 9.44 feet and rising.

so sorry for all those in harm's way and grateful for the first responders.
first the 100 year drought, then 100 year beetles/fires, then 100 year flood. is a 100 year blizzard next?

I-25 closed at US 34 in Loveland due to flooding, More closures on I-70, US 36, etc..

.52" of rain overnight, no flooding here. But there's SNOW on the San Juans and Cimarrons this morning.

Heard that I-25 is closed now between Hwy 7 (near Erie) through to Ft Collins. Some photos show stretches where it looks like a river.

The Big Thompson and Cache la Poudre rivers have both flooded I-25.

This makes me think that US-34 through the Big Thompson Canyon is gonna be out of commission for quite some time.

It's so weird to me that all of this is happening 20 minutes away from me, but where I live, the ground is dry and the sun is shining. Only in Colorado.
