Colors that sounds across the lower part of the bridges. Imagine in the future when the riverfront gets fully developed on the Columbia side and you look out from the riverfront park at night to get a beautiful colorful bridge on both sides.

Richland Library wins prestigious National Medal for Museum and Library Service award. The Columbia Museum won last year and Edventure won in 2011. The award is given annually to 10 organizations throughout the country. Georgetown Library won the award in 2007, and is the only organization outside the midlands to receive the award in South Carolina.

Yeah,
I wonder who would be responsible for this??? Doesn't the state own the bridge? It would be cool to light it up red, white and blue on the 4th of July or rainbow colors for pride, or pink for breast cancer awareness.
So i was reading a story from November last year about the intermodal transit hub for Columbia and one thing i missed them and just not catching was they said that this project will 3-5 years to build out and they want light rail to become part of this project also. Which excited me.
They said they wanted it to be in the Vista or on the RR tracks across from Benedict college.

Well in the article they said they would like to open up a rail line at the same time they build the Intermodal Transit Hub. I mean i remember someone from the CMCOG did tell that they have the money to build it they just want to make sure they do it right.
They said they don't want to make the mistake MARTA did and build a line with stops that has literally no one riding. So i understand.
I believe they did told me last time i was at a meeting that they want to build a Columbia to Newberry line as the first line because it's needed. Another person said they wanted one going from downtown to Camden.
