These two major downtown sites are for sale..I dont know how long they have been on the market or if they are priced right...but they could certainly yield nice infill projects if redeveloped

The right type of development on both of those parcels in the Vista would do a lot to help connect the district with the Main Street corridor, especially when/if Assembly north of Gervais gets streetscaped.

I thought the site at Assembly and Washington was supposed to be for the Student Housing project called The Edge. I know that they suspended it a couple years ago, but have they completely abandoned the project now?

Timing could be right with the City's new incentive program so something may happen on them.. It is amazing how much parking is in downtown/vista.. I have never seen any of these particular lots full at any given time...Those photos along show an sea of parking even around these two lots...Whats the going monthly parking rate downtown.. It must be $80 per month if not less????.I believe a hotel is being built over by the CPD Station so... things may start filling in down there...but with our luck somebody will buy it just to keep it a parking lot...

You're right about the sea of parking. It reminds me of this online 'competition': https://usa.streetsblog.org/2013/03/...outh-carolina/

Always a good thing when an entire office building is purchased. It’s not for a entirely new tenant, but I’d say it’s still positive!
