New Haven was 165k people at its peak.

Bridgeport is overpopulated plus the people who moving bridgeport is looking for cheaper rent. I don't think New Haven or Stamford will catch up

A single mother of 3, A Bronx resident who can't afford rent most likey move to Bridgeport

Yup, if New Haven's growth starts to slow down, Stamford could sneak past New Haven by 2020. If Nridgeport doesn't get its act together, by 2030 New Haven could surpass Bridgeport.

Heck, even Danbuy is gaining faster and faster on Norwalk (3K difference). Heck, Danbury might be ahead already with the undocumented residents.

Will the Bass Pro even survive in Brideport? Personally, I would of built it in Long Island, I don't think LI has one.

Bass Pro has a big regional draw, so being in Bridgeport doesn't really matter. Well, 95 traffic might be a deterrent. I think it will do fine, if it ever actually gets built.

Lots of money to build new apartments in New Haven at the moment. I imagine 360 State floodedthe market a bit with 500 high-end units in 2010, but it's been a few years now.

With all this new development I could see why developers are building a large outlet center right over the line in West Haven.
