I surely hope not. It's beautiful over there. I can't imagine them improving it with development.

There's some large developments on the edge of Wooster Square that are about to happen. They are in current industrial areas between Wooster Square and downtown so it will be an improvement.

Yep! Here's the two apartment buildings I'm aware of.

87 Union:
87 Union Passes Final City Test | New Haven Independent

Old Comcast building (construction may have started on this already):
Wooster Square Apartments Get Green Light | New Haven Independent

Construction on the first is being held up by a lawsuit from the owners of the Smoothie building:

There's another small apartment in Wooster Square too, only 6 units:

Also a replacement of the decrepit housing project near there: http://www.newhavenindependent.org/i...lans_revealed/

Here's another small project just announced:

300 units on 87 Union St is quite impressive. I was hoping it'll be like 360 State Street but this building looks familiar with ones being built in Stamford. Looks nice. Arent the old Comcast building and 87 union almost right next to each other? Should be good for the area. Any new updates on the New Haven Coliseum Redevelopment Project?
