The square itself is really beautiful. Some of the surrounding streets too. There are definitely buildings that could use rehabbing or tearing down here and there in the core. The outer area needs work and there's a lot planned on the downtown facing side

It is alleged they might be building a Barcade in New Haven. It's a small chain with some NYC and NJ locations, retro arcade + craft beers. They have a Twitter and Facebook page and a logo, but nothing else.

If that link is real, it means they are coming to New Haven. It says coming soon. I wonder where. Jay

It's real. It's on their site too.

Should make a killing. I've often thought New Haven could use a place like that.

Thought this was an interesting article: Sale of New Haven properties could mean changes for downtown

Frontier is putting a couple of pretty desirable pieces of property up for sale.

I'll be curious to see how it does here. Seems like a place for hipsters and I'm not sure there are enough in New Haven to give this staying power.

I think there's a huge audience for it

Pricey, but since it's a new build, at least the layouts seem nice. I've seen a lot of converted apartments in New Haven where the bedroom doesn't even have a window, and at a similar price point.

The Junior 1BR are "interesting." It's like a walk-in closet with a fold down bed in it.
