Wow, you must have been sleeping in your parent's basement for just a little too long.

Watch out, your post could be perceived as a personal attack. That said, it did seem to quiet the peanut gallery for a little awhile. I expect Nep to return soon beaming with confidence and import to employers.

Yeah but I've never been there in the winter, so I'm oblivious. I know from living in Granby, we usually get much more snow than my grandparents' house in West Hartford. Since Stamford is a much lower latitude than West Hartford, then maybe it gets zero snow? Idk.

That is correct. It never snows in Stamford.

A much lower latitude? It's like 40 miles.

NJ gets plenty of snow. How does that make any sense?

From Wikipedia: "Stamford averages about 30 inches of snow annually"

Well that's what a lady I interviewed with said. She lives in Ridgefield and said that there were times where she got up to a foot of snow and Stamford got nothing. Unless she's lying...

That happens all the time, especially with elevation storms. Actually, there were many times when the northern half of Stamford would have 6", and southern Stamford would just be rain and slush. The Merritt is usually a dividing line between a lot and a little, or rain vs snow.

Remember, there are coastal storms that drop 6" on the coast and inland only gets 2". This happened numerous times this past season.

Oh well. Either way I prefer the climate of northern CT or western MA.

It sounds like the OP will need 3 vehicles daily during winter, to get through the extreme differences in climate. Perhaps drive one from Granby To Milford, park it at a public lot, drive vehicle 2 to Norwalk, park it at a public lot, than drive vehicle 3 to the job. At night, do the reverse.
