Yes and as I thought from the initial description, it’s in Bob Scinto’s Enterprise Corporate Park. Jay

Yeah - all over the news down here. I was suspicious of their intentions renting about 70k square feet in Miami and trying to tell us it’s only for 100 people, but now the cats out of the bag. Seems like upper management will be based out of Miami and it appears the move within CT was to consolidate a bit.

Why would the CEO of subway want to live all the way in Florida when the global headquaters is in CT? Doess not seem very practical.

He already resides in Coral Gables, a suburb of Miami. And the global headquarters is now shared with Miami.

And people have been tripping over each other to move to Florida the past two years, so I can’t imagine his upper management executive team would hate the idea.

Why? - A canal-side home in Coral Gables. Maybe other reasons but that's a good place to start.
If you read the article it talks about Miami as the consumer-facing operations HQ. Great place to woo potential celebrity endorsements. Shelton, CT? not so much.

Can Subway's upper exec team members afford Billionaire Alley?
I hear their pay structure isn't very generous

Interesting article on the amount of office space that has been converted to alternative uses in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. Since 2012 a total of 3.2 million square feet (or 6%) has been converted in Fairfield County. The majority had been converted to multi family use, followed by educational (Sacred Heart University’s purchase of GE’s Headquarters in Fairfield). Other conversions have been to flex/industrial space, senior housing or medical offices. Interesting. Jay

That is what I would expect. I'd love to see Subway publish, median income, by hq location, excluding the CEO.

I would expect the majority of the CEO's direct reports and their reports to be based in Miami.
