Some decent totals out there. A general 8-10 across the shoreline/southern CT.

On to the next storm's. Look's like more snow is possible on Saturday and Tues. Cold looks locked in for almost 2 weeks so this snow is not going anywhere.

8 inches in Wallingford? This is maybe half that. Is that because of how fluffy it is? Calling this 8 inches is a huge stretch regardless. If I put a ruler out there, it'd be no more than 4.

You know whats crazy.. The type of snow it is, I am seeing the same town have a 1-4" difference.

With a 35:1 snow ratio that means your 4" difference is a 0.11" liquid difference. Just like summer time when more rain falls over one part, this type of storm that 1-4" difference is believeable even in same town. That's 1/10th" or less liquid difference.

Crazy stuff. We do not see mountain type snow around here.

Bridgeport with 21.6" on the season which is 10.5" above normal.
Windsor Locks with 22.5" on the season which is 4.9" above normal.

Upton will update their F6 and CLI report later this afternoon to reflect the snow total.

A RECORD SNOWFALL OF 6.5 INCHES WAS SET AT BRIDGEPORT CT YESTERDAY.
THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 6.2 SET IN 2002.

Because the snow was so light, the high winds really blew it around making it hard to measure. I would say we got about 9+ here, the official totals sound right. And what's up with all these new snow predictions? It's like they came out of nowhere.
