I watched NOAA go from 41, to 38, now to 35 as the forecast low here. LOL

NWS Forecast lows Monday morning. Curious to see how widespread the 20s/30s get.

Lol. Not in CT! Only Poconos and elevations above 3000' in NY and VT and only scattered snow showers possible.

Euro says wind gusts 40-52mph in CT on thursday. Still early for details but this NorEaster would be a familiar Fall sound & feel for us...... Goodbye many colored leaves. Might look like winter in many areas next weekend.

Unsure of the map, but Oswego is at 40 . That said, I read that some lake effect snow could dust the area.

Growing season ended for northern Litchfield so no watches will be posted.

FROST ADVISORIES AND OR FREEZE WARNINGS MAY BE NEEDED SUNDAY NIGHT
INTO MONDAY MORNING FOR THE CAPITAL DISTRICT...MID HUDSON VALLEY
AND SOUTHERN LITCHFIELD COUNTY. THE GROWING SEASON HAS ENDED
OUTSIDE OF THESE AREAS
. LOW TEMPERATURES IN THESE AREAS MAY
EXCEED OR APPROACH FREEZING.

The first time we had a freeze warning this widespread in CT last year was October 25th! So we're early again this year.

Current Watches & Warnings.. All of CT under freeze warning with the coast under frost advisory.

For curiosity, I put in my sister's zip code in the NWS forecast page (she lives about 10-15 miles northeast of Buffalo) and it only showed rain.....

So maybe the snow is only limited to mountainous areas this time.......like the parts between the lakes and the Catskills, etc.

Right now and all of today and tonight it will be below freezing above 3000' so anywhere there is moisture above 3000' it will be flurrying or snowing.. Here's NWS Albany. I wonder if Mt Bear in Litchfield County will see some flakes!
