I'm still harvesting stuff? Notice the leaves on the ground. ITS OCTOBER.
Last year I also harvest the last of the crops October 19th.

Pretty average weather and so this is pretty normal here. 70s tomorrow!

I'm hearing near 80 for Wednesday and 60s at night (which I find more amazing than the 80) but they are talking about clouds and sprinkles so I'm not sure I'm believe that high temperature even for NYC on south, let alone CT (the lows I can believe if it's cloudy though). From heat to almost a/c in 2 days huh?

Bring the warmth on! I won't mind a bit! The rain on Thursday may be a different story though.

I agree with this... I just posted some pics in the Photo thread that show this just from one area.

I mean I know about micro climates but it's not like these differences are 1000 feet vs 500 feet elevation or half hour away. They are within a small area or town. It's strange how non uniform the change is this year. And its later than normal in some areas.

I was surprised to see that much deep green there still is in Litchfield mid October.

We seemed to be ramping up for an amazing year, some of the trees were just perfect. And then we had 2 rain storms, the latter of which had crazy high wind.

And then it all fell apart. ;_;

Well whatever, maybe that just means it'll seem like autumn lasts longer since we'll have bright colors on a couple trees that are completely green now really late. Like into November. That'd be okay.

Stop with the 70's and the humidity. It's mid October bring on the chilly nights and cool days.

I'm LOVING it. Keep it warm until December. 70's is absolutely beautiful and the "humidity" was great. I don't know anyone could possibly find it too hot today and be sweating. Time to lose some weight if you were too hot today
