Last year starting September squirrels were absolutely "running" around in panic burying every which way and even carrying multiple acorns. Everywhere you looked there was a squirrel..

This year in September they were slow moving, very relaxed.. October activity picked up but No Where near last years.

Now I'm seeing them burying more.

Also... my dog has never let me down with her shedding predictions. It's unreal how it works out.

She was shedding a lot in August and September...now slowed down.

Both signs of warmth. I'm looking forward to February I guess. lol

Current temps.

Florida sticking out like a sore sunny warm thumb. lol

Wouldn't you rather be in that part of Quebec where it's snowing..?

It's about to get sunny here.. Edge of clouds pushing though.. RUN!

If I hear someone else saying they cant stand the weather in CT and rather live in Florida I'm gonna pick them up and bring them to a mental institution.

Understand something .... people DOWN THERE... who LIVE THERE .... who are used to not getting breaks ... ARE COMPLAINING.

It's now November and this is what they are going through today... Take a look.

Well my dad and his GF HATE the CT winters and loves sun. She can't wait to go to Aruba in February with averages in the high 80's. Guess you better bring them to mental institutions then. I however, like the cold weather and snow but even I need a break from the cold once in a while.

Thats different than saying you want to move there. A vacation in Aruba or needing a "break" is normal. Liking the sun is fine. Theres a reason why people "living" down south complain this time of year. Look at the stats since April. Horrible. Not much breathing breaks.

Jacksonville max of 88. Real feel of sweltering 90s in November. Not humane

Ouch..... That's hot for Jacksonville at this time. My imaginary paradise is tropical but in the 81-79° range for max temps.

Yup. Actually max is 89F for today which breaks the entire month of November max. They haven't been above 85 in November since 2008 and not often do. Yeah, they're getting torched. Extended prune days! I mean pool days.

Back to CT ......

Status quo.. Seasonably warm then well above normal Wed, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

That's their record high for all of November? Kind of surprised since for NYC it's only a few degrees less at 84......

Enjoy this week guys. November should, could, might be above normal overall but we will feel cold at times. It's New England after all. Like Sunday-Monday next week only 40s or low 50s as highs.

Transition months always so interesting yet so hard to figure out what to wear.

I'll be in shorts Wednesday to Friday.

Just found a cool Hi-Res LARGE Radar image. Doesn't have PType on there so will be pointless in winter IMO but you can see the moisture anyway. Rainy morning in Mid Atlantic
