Today is such a nice day. Warm, windy, and the trees are of all colors. If it would only stick around forever, that would be even nicer!

It does! You just have to live further south to see it.

I think you're right. Checked the update and it didn't look too changed from yesterdays. Thanks for the link

Guess what.. after Saturday it's all yours. There is NOT 1 cold blast or period coming up after Saturday. Warm, above normal for November standards! 60s and 70s in October is warm. In November it's just sad. lol

But I agree... enjoy it guys.. this is nice to have knowing our seasonal changes. I don't mind 1 or 2 days like this. but once November comes, I really need that healthy crisp fresh air!

LOL. Yup. You should see the complaints from folks in Florida and the South on the Weather forum. They are so disgusted. No break since like when the friggin Dinosaurs roamed. (lets say April)

You guys can check the forecasts.. should show Spring after Saturday.

Heres GFS for Wednesday.

Going to be 2 or 3 days like this. After Nov 6th I still believe things change OR we get a cold break.

No doubt for next week. But after next week long term seems to be coming off 60's ..It looks mostly 50's. But above normal.

Wow right now Accuweather long term has TWO days with below normal highs from Nov 1 - Dec 12th. If that pans out this is going to be one long warm period. The odds of seeing snow before mid December is very very low. Only hope is a cold core low that pulls down enough cold air for itself to briefly turn a rain event into snow.

Hopefully we have a winter with above average highs and lows most of the time because the last winter was rough on my dad and his GF. As much as I love seeing snow fall my dad HATES snow to the core. An early snow would be very nice to see IMO but it would not be the same to my dad.

I'm with your dad.. Winter is a big pain! I hope to be in Miami for Christmas and New Years and get some sun

This year has been such a perfect fall, mild and warm Sept and Oct , and now maybe November too. I hope the three winter months pass just as warm and quick. Only about 7 more weeks and the days start getting longer
again!

I can't remember the winter between that 3 footer and last. However, last winter was brutal drove through 10-12 different snow falls/storms. The worse was that ice storm that was horrific. I can take a nice 10 degrees with maybe 20 inches of snow from December to April. Couldn't even run on the roads last winter most in my area were very narrow one way.

GFS12z data for Danbury.

Seasonable/chilly today & tomm.

7 days of warmth coming with a 585DAM Wed/Thurs. That's impressive for November. Core of it will be Wed-Thurs

Then maybe a deep cold trough to follow after next weekend.

Whats crazy is that cold is over 8 days away and we all know things can change and flip that far out. We'll see.

But that is an extended and deep warm period coming....and dry.
