Started a thread if curious on whats happening with the storm before it gets to us. Pretty incredible in New Mexico and Texas.

Will have more CT updates tomorrow. My opinion is it will start as snow, we will all wake up to a white landscape and then the mixing and rain will start and wash it all away.

When is this supposed to start? I've managed to keep my summer tires on and am debating changing them tomorrow

Roads will be totally fine in CT. Its the sleet and maybe ice that could become tricky. I do not think roads will be an issue unless 3"+ is going to fall.

But now is the time to put them on. There's more snow chances in the future coming. Nice job waiting. Just like I did and said to in the other thread from October. Wait until there's the chance.

Now we got one. Tuesday morning is the time.

Euro12z and just now GFS18z were colder. Have to see if now this is a new trend back to colder. LOL Poor forecasters.

Here's the data for Hartford... Almost an inch qpf with 850 and surface temps below freezing? DOUBT THAT!

The result of that would be this... I doubt this! 8"+ for northern CT?

Snow total forecast map from NWS Boston. Reality or waaay too conservative?

I know some on here love the snow but speaking with co workers and from what I see people and friends post on social media it seems as though there are more people loving this weather compared to people actually craving subzero Temps and snowstorms. But as I always say to each his own. I've enjoyed this weather immensely but I'm guessing the party is soon to be over and winter will actually appear.
I, for one, am loving this weather. Have been at our town beach, sitting in the sun, reading and listening to my radio, just about every afternoon for the past 2+ weeks. Hope it lasts.
