HRRR model says by 2pm storms will be popping up

This is what it has for 3 pm. Storms and the cold front will be moving Southeast

This is between 6-7pm. Hartford, New Haven, Eastern CT getting hit

8-9pm. NYC metro, Fairfield getting hit with a line of storms.

Don't get all fussy about forecasts if your area doesn't see storms or only gets a drop of rain. Just how it goes. There's a ton of models that have many end results of details.

Just be prepared and know the timing. That's all

High dews are fuel for localized cells as well. Keep an eye on the radar

No, it's more like we've had an unusual amount of snowy winters during the past 20 years and this year was "near normal" (to be technical, slightly below normal, but not "barely snowed" compared to what is "normal")

Bridgeport - 24.6", normal 27.9"
Hartford - 40.1", normal 40.5"
NY City - 20.5", normal 25.8"
Providence - 29.4", normal 33.8"

(I didn't include Boston as they were what for them would be "well below normal", numbers similar to BDR and Providence but they have a "normal" similar to Hartford)

Thats including March and November. We had no snow over "winter" itself.

Deep sounding boomers here. Just got back from Milford. Pouring in Greenwich! It's coming towards the coast.

I noticed the Thunder is deep sounding when the dew points are in the 70s (muggy!)
