Here come the thunderstorms!

94 degrees and a dew point of 69 in New Britain (06052). We have a severe thunderstorm watch for Hartford County until at least 9 PM.

As a general rule, I never quote heat index or wind chill. I only go by the actual air temperature.

Everyone is under a TStorm Watch. Heads up!! Look at the cells forming here and there.

Someones lawn just got watered in Newtown and Naugatuck.

Check out the cells west of us. Tarrytown cell will hit northern Fairfield.

They are moving Northeast so we need a NYC cell to form to get rain here.

well, for once I would welcome a thunderstorm. It's way too hot to go outside and water anything. (Central CT area)

We had a pop-up shower in the Kensington section of Berlin in the last half hour or less. Sun is back out...some.

I had a 5 minute 0.06" shower with 1 rumble. Now the sun is peaking through and steam is coming off the road and my head

Came in from a client about an hour ago, hot but tolerable. Sitting at my desk and realized it sounded like it had rained, so I went out to close my car window - holy steam bath! Funny thing is, my feels like is 103 down from 107

Heavy Thunderstorm with lightning here. No warning on it. These little cells are packing a punch. Deep sounding thunder. high dews.

Temps mid-upper 80s. Warm thunderstorm

I was hoping for at least 1/2" of rain before the heat. Perfect timing! Rain dance workes

In North Greenwich. Lightening, Thunder, downpour
South Greenwich. Dry ground with lightning and thunder and some blue in sky
