Center of Isaias is 20 miles west of Albany right now. Here's a loop past 4hrs. Its racing out of here NNE at 40mph. Pressure at 995mb. All those icons are wind damage reports of trees and wires down.

Should be gone very quickly, after all based on NY outward migration, everyone leaves Albany.

This was an interesting afternoon. I am glad I still have power as of now.

Had a tree come within two feet of the house, but fell on the patio thank God. Gonna need some new patio furniture and maybe a new grill. Wanted to get a new one, so now I have an excuse.

This storm was so fast. From 12:30 to 3:30 and then it was over.

Eversource is choking on the outage reports coming in. Tons of trees and lines down here in Woodstock. Hope I will have power back sometime tomorrow? (yeah, fingers crossed...)

I been out for 6hrs now and they haven't even touched the tree that fell on the wires causing the outages for the neighborhood. That means I'm going all night without it.

I borrowed a generator from someone and I ran an extension cord from it to inside. Pulled out my fridge, plugged it into surge protector. As well as a box fan, small lamp, laptops, modem and phone chargers.

So I'm ok for few hours. Propane fuel sucks.

I don't think it was Sandy or Irene either but I'd say it was at least Floyd and a lot closer to Sandy/Irene than it was to Fay, in fact especially based on my 2nd comment below I'd even dare to say it was "almost Irene". For example, in NJ it was their third worst power outage day as a state ever after (you guessed it....) Sandy and Irene.

And for Con Edison (Bronx, Manhattan and Westchester), they had slightly MORE power outages than during Irene and only Sandy had more (but it had 4 times more outages so not even close). I don't imagine CT to be much different.

Over half million without power in CT alone still at 10pm. DeJaVu? They didn't expect it? Not prepared again?
What happened to all the time & money spent on pruning back? lol.

I'm still without power.

Strike that.... Over 600,000 in CT alone. As bad as Sandy!
