Still got 3 draws here:

West Hartford vs Stamford

Bridgeport vs North Haven

West Haven vs Cornwall

I’m really curious as to what’s going to happen in the next few hours!

When you get to the end like this, I don’t think you should just have a single person change their vote and have such power. In the future, for later rounds, have a defined tiebreaker system. I’d rather even just flip a coin than have a single member have the ability to decide it.

In future, maybe for certain rounds and later, you have a runoff vote, 2 days to break the tie.

Yes honestly I’m with you! Generally the main idea I usually do is to do a runoff vote for 24 hrs and everyone revotes again! That works best as it’s kind of a race and we won’t have everyone vote in 24 hrs. That’s what I plan to do!

I don’t like coin flips either, so I think it’s best just to have an extra day for everyone that sees it to re-vote again.

That being said though, vote changes are allowed anytime up until deadline; however I don’t like them being misused just to break ties. The point is for people to actually genuinely change their mind about a particular vote.

These vote changes were not needed after all to break draws. Do you want me to still change them? If I don't hear from you by 1:30am I will change them for you as those were your last votes.

Bethany vs North Branford and Middlefield vs Hamden are draws. As authorized by SteveM85 in Post #294, I will change his votes to break the draw sending North Branford and Hamden through, eliminating Middlefield and Bethany. Unless I hear something else in the next 10 min.

All that to say, this will probably be the last round that I will accept changes like this. I am going to make a new rule announcement after I close the round! Stay Tuned!
