Not very many people at all want to live here.

There is next to "0" local employment.......unless your own a business or, babysit.

35 miles to the store.

At it is next to impossible to build here unless you buy a lot of land........that makes it expensive.

The people that live are retired farmers......and people that own their businesses.

That is so true. In some communities it is a badge of honor to act like a fool and confront the police. Also when a crime is committed it is admirable to "know nothing" and act like the police are an interference in your high crime rate area.
