so b/c he had a juvenile record we don't give him a heart? who could predict his life would end this way. the main reason doctors were hesitant to give him a heart was mostly because he wasn't taking his meds not his record.

The donor would be just as dead no matter who he/she gave their heart to. don't be silly.

So you're saying there's not a list of people waiting for a heart transplant?

If it were up to me, someone from his family would have to give up their heart to a person who was on that list. This is an example of a life wasted, literally.

What a shame, that heart could've gone to someone who wasn't a criminal.

Your bleeding heart is why this country is where it's at now and why we're headed even further in the direction we're headed in. You coddle and side with criminals more than the good people.

You can take the thug out of the ghetto but not the ghetto out of the thug!

You don't have the right to decide that, especially based on "character." That's immoral.

No. Less than 2% of black men commit a violent crime in a year.

Get outta here. Criminals are humans that made a mistake.

So now we should have a moral questionnaire before donating organs? Ohh, you comitted a crime, you should rot and die.

Gotta love the logic of right-wingers. They usually claim they are "Christian," too.

The medical establishment has to make life-and-death decisions based on something. The person who will live the longest is the best choice for an organ transplant. Criminals are not long for this world. I see nothing immoral about taking someone's character into account when making these decisions.
