Look. If you are black... Just shuffle your feet, look down, tap dance if needed and say yessum nosum sir... And there is a 80% chance you won't get shot. And above all, make sure your vehicle is brand new. God forbid its gets old enough to require any bulb changes. Also never ever ever EVER make eye contact with a cop... For any reason. That will lead to the probability of being pulled over. See above... Make sure you have your info in your hands BEFORE the officer approaches your car. Turn down your antiestablishmet music. If you have a white woman in the car....... Well...... RIP buddy.

BTW. The above post has been tested for authenticity. Lol. I jest. But we all have to be careful out there. Everyone seems to be armed these days and jittery. When approached by police I exhale and become very still. I don't move an inch.

Without the body cam, this would have been another M. Brown case.
Something needs to be done about these racists, lying cops.

I don't know. Nancy Grace showed the video in slow motion. There were no timestamps visible.

But the cop definitely had his left hand on the driver's seatbelt/chest (although he said he reached into the car to remove the keys) and at the same time (left hand on chest) the gun is visible in his right hand. It is almost out of the frame; on the right side.

The driver still had his seatbelt on, as a matter of fact, he was in the process of removing his seatbelt seconds before the shooting. The driver did have time to raise his hands when he saw the gun; seconds later he was shot.

The driver was already dead when the car started rolling down the road. It was in 'drive' after all, and his foot was no longer pressing the brake pedal.

He was running to the car that had just fled. Car appeared to have crashed at the end of the block into a telephone pole. Driver was DOA.

Cop didn't need to fire a head shot but......

Driver was pulled over for a missing front tag. (legal stop, no profiling)
Driver did not possess a valid license (he didn't have one on his person and it was indeed suspended)
Driver resisted getting out of the car (he pulled the door shut as the officer tried to open it)
Driver attempted to flee as officer was trying to stop him (started car and drove off)

Cop will not be found guilty as there is enough doubt to not convict him. His LEO career is over. The city will have riots (the residents will use this as a chance to get free stuff/act badly).

This is certainly not on the same as level as the other 2 SC cop shootings (gas station traffic stop and shooting the guy in the back that was running away).

ANOTHER "TOUGH COP----getting Tough on the Beat.
He'll end up in Jail...isolated...but then Murdered in Prison.

We know how the victim's family feels...

I wonder what the Cop's Family feels right now?
Really?

Force driver out? .......Cop attempted (and failed) to open the door
Driver is nervous........Yeah because he has a suspended license and was driving a car!

You seemed to have missed the part of the video where the driver starts the car and attempts to take off? Is that not aggressive?

Surely he didn't deserve a head shot but he wasn't exactly making the situation any better (no tag, no license, suspended licence, resisting getting out of the car, starting the car and taking off)......Clearly the driver escalated the stop from a ticket situation to probably an arrest (fleeing).

This wasn't an alter boy on the way to church....
