A slight correction; the "egalitarian" pig is a character in Animal Farm, rather than 1984, but a pig by any other standard ...

I am sorry this woman lost her son. I blame it on his age and alcohol.

This is why we cannot have nice things. Nobody ever takes personal responsibility anymore, we want our choices legislated out of existence to relieve the burden on us.

I guarantee if it wasn't the fireworks then her son would have killed himself some other way...possibly taking others out with him.
Nature's way of cleansing the gene pool.

Is this like the guy who lit a match to see into his gas tank?

Or the guy smoking on the Empire State building who threw the wrong butt off?

The fireworks issue is nothing to lose your head over...she seems pretty burned up about it though.

I'm prepared to wait a very long time for your reply to this point.
Where do I propose rule by a gang of thugs? Or rule by anyone?

What point are you waiting for me to reply to? I don't see any point.

What does anything I wrote have to do with 1984? Or Animal Farm? Or equality? Or any such thing?

I'm not saying you're incoherent. Just that what you're trying to say is not clear to me.
