This is hilarious given the "sheep" epithets slung around earlier. Research a little rather than reacting to what some internet liar says next time.

Reminds of when Walmart fired 2 employee's for going after some violent robbers. They recovered the money and apprehended the culprits, but was fired by Walmart for violating Walmart's "No Chasing shoplifters/Robbers" policy.
At the end of the day, rules are rules, and the law is the law.

When it gets to where we are not, then prepare for the worst.

As a veteran Naval Officer, I am ashamed and offended by the very notion that this man is being prosecuted for his actions by the Navy.

This country has gone to hell in a hand basket and our military has been weakened from within to the point that we need to be afraid for our future.
Exactly. The demise of this country will come at the hands of liberal SJW cucktards and OWS crybabies, these people are natural born nation wreckers.

The military is supposed to be armed, that is what they do.

It's just a shame that they're not backing off.

Really?

Sure they can. It's called discretion.

''Rules are rules'' and ''going by the book''?

Oh, really? Could you honestly stand there in that recruiting center or reserve center, particularly as a military member, and KNOW that you have a weapon within your reach that if used, may save lives?

Would you just stand there and let someone shoot your shipmates there in the lobby?

...because ''rules are rules''? ...because you are supposed to ''go by the book''?

If you say that you would do nothing but let it happen then you are a fool, a coward, a co-terrorist, and a disgrace to the uniform.

No, you use the weapon. But don't be alarmed when you're charged for violating law on having your weapon there in the first place. Note, in recognition of the good this officer did, the I could never see the Navy throwing the book at him; they just want to make an example to show the importance of following the rules.

Not only all of that () but you can be sure that law was in effect to discourage criminal use of a weapon on a base (federal property). Heck of a lot of good that did in both Fort Hood massacres, huh? Typically, the criminals don't follow the law. So now we have a hero for whom that law was not intended, being prosecuted.

Wonderful.

Have you ever had to do that? And then explain to that troop and all his mates that, as the commander said, "a crime is a crime?" Ever done that?

As long as commanders are going by the book on my troops, they need to be going by the book on everyone. It's got to at least go through the process. White's commander has to at least judge the facts and make a decision. Just to say, "We're not even going to examine the situation" won't fly.
Yes I have stood beside one of my Marines while he got NJP for something stupid. That has nothing to do with the Captain thou. Sounds to me like you are more out for revenge for past things then justice.
