And it's the citizenry who are so poorly trained compared to police that we shouldn't have guns???

Good an attempted murder suspect gets shot but you ridicule the missed shots? Glad that mutt is off the streets. Thank You NYPD for doing a difficult job protecting the unappreciative public!!!!

Lastly look at the article the perp had a vehicle that he used for cover. It wasn't like he was standing in the middle of the street.

Unfortunately, this seems to be a common occurrence with police. The mag dumps are what's being taught in the academies, and the hi cap weapons issued encourage it further. Every cop belt I've seenately has a minimum of 3 spare mags on it , plus the one in the weapon, one would think that would be enough. Maybe not.

Yeah …

Sheriff Andy Taylor generally made his rounds unarmed (!!!) and his Deputy, Barney Fife, carried a six shot .38 revolver (unloaded) and had access to only one (1) bullet, which he kept in a shirt pocket ...

Too bad he was only hit in the leg. One to the back of the head would of been nice. 12 Prior arrests? What a contributor to society.

Or maybe it was the car that he hid behind that stopped the shots. Lets take the bullets away from the cops so when they need them they can just get shot and killed to satisfy you!! Lastly you say you think their ammo would be enough? Go engage yourself in a shootout and have some computer cowboy talk about how your ammo should be limited!!! SMFH!!!
