Awesome job, Hoboken!!!

I'm on my rest week (8). Unfortunately, I reinjured a herniated disc in my upper back pushing for an extra pull-up last week. I tried Yoga X on Sunday and it was painful. I've decided to just do cardio this week: run 3 miles Sun, Tues & Thurs and some limited ab work. Feeling better today and I'm hopeful I'll be near 100% for week 9 start-up on Sunday. I'm brining it whether I'm pain free or not - I've come too far to let a little pain stop me!!!

I'm down almost 25 lbs and I've noticeably lost inches!

So sorry redsox. Take it easy. P90X is unforgiving, and if you don't rest the injury you may make it worse. Take the time you need or you'll end up slowing down for a longer time than you really need to.
It's a long term thing - take the time you need and then just keep going!

Just don't let it through you off for months! That's the key!

I started back up today with Chest and Back. It's funny. I really missed the work-outs. I felt pretty good. I tried pull-ups but only got about 5 done and felt a little strain so I switched to bands for the rest. I'm going to struggle through the pain for the next 4 weeks and then I may switch to a lower impact work-out for a few weeks before starting another round.

Yikes, I'm so behind in updating this again.... probably beause I keep it all at home on sheets too.

I'm now in Round 2, Phase 2, Week 2.
Haven't skipped any days.

In the past week and 2 days I've done:

Chest, Shoulders & Triceps, Ab Ripper (TWICE)
Plyometrics (TWICE)
Core Synergistics
Yoga X
Legs & Back. Ab Ripper X
Kenpo X.

I also did my first ever unassisted chin up - wahoo!

Nutrition has been ok - eating clean, no booze (well maybe one ), but my calories have dipped. I need to get them up. I'm regularly eating between 1350 - 1550 cals a day, and I want to be closer to 1750.
MUST EAT MORE.
In fact I'll go and have my afternoon snack, now!
