I am so glad I found this site!! Okay I didnt know if I should just start a new thread or continue this one..so here goes. My family and I are planning to return back to the US after living in Israel for the past 5 years. We would like to move to the Dallas area. We are Orthodox although not Ultra and really enjoy a more suburban to semi-rural atmosphere. I would like to rent a house instead of an apartment.
What type of area is the North Dallas area? Safe? Walk able? Any info would be appreciated. :O)

As suggested for the other poster, I would look in North Dallas, with 75 (Central Expressway) as your eastern border, Inwood/Dallas North Tollway as your western border, Royal as your southern border, and Belt Line as your northern border. This is where the Jewish Community Center is JCC of Dallas as well as this is where the bulk of the temples and synagogues are.

I think you're being overly sensitive. If you took your hyper-victimization mentality out of the equation you would realize that is not what he was saying at all.

For all you Talmud scholars.........there are a lot of cattle in Texas.........and I'm not just talking about the goyim either. The state is literally crawling with them!

I'm not from Dallas, but I met a nice Jewish boy who is from Dallas just recently who mocked and made fun of my Catholicism, so wherever you decide to congregate I'm sure you will find like-minded chosen ones.
