My photo of Susan and Joey, taken in 1972, was chosen as a finalist in the Houston Chronicle's Throwback Holiday Photo contest. The photo is #18 in the link below. I dont know if you can vote only once or if you can vote every day. But I'd appreciate it if you'd vote for them. I dont expect to win because I'm not publicizing it (except in this post) but it would be nice to be in the running. Voting ends December 1. Thanks so much!
Sorry about your plants, Camper. There's a cold front blowing into Houston too. I was out running errands today and the temps dropped 20 degrees in about an hour. I dont think it's as cold as it is in San Antonio (yet) and especially not as cold as it is in Dallas, but we're in for a few cool rainy days (YAY!).
I think about Glory often and miss her too. I wont give up hope that someday she'll pop in and say hi.

Ack, I had a whole thread posted, maybe forgot to post it? Anyway: long story short: I had gotten a steal on these Marc Fisher ankle boots yr. before last as I recall - they were brown and I wanted them in black (I have a hard time finding comfy shoes/boots). Someone on EBay was selling that style, in black, and cheap because they had been on display on a mannequin so left was 5 1/5 and right was 6 - Perfect!!! (I have a bunion on rgt. foot) - came today - I'm wearing now to break them in. Leather and like 18 something (plus shipping) but still a steal! I'm a happy camper (lmao - not to steal Kamper name
